If you want to discover your vocation to Carmel you are invited to Recollection Days and vocation retreats.
Weekend Recollection Days
They take place in Czerna, Lublin, Cracow, Przemysl. The participants join the monastery’s daily schedule through common prayers, meals and the Holy Mass. During Recollection Days we offer praying together, conferences, individual talk. In Carmel silence and solitude are important, therefore we offer you a stay in an individual cell and an atmosphere suitable for prayer and being alone with God.
Recollection Days start at 4 p.m. on Friday and finish about 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The participants of Recollection Days are kindly asked to make a voluntary donation to the community.
Vocation retreats
Vocation retreats is the time of discerning one’s vocation. During the retreats we are guided mostly by the Eucharist, interior prayer, adoration and reciting the breviary together. Silence is an important part of that time, but we mustn’t forget about shared meals, meetings and an exchange of experiences. We can also learn what Carmelite spirituality is and ask questions that we have carried about and considered for a long time. Vocation retreats take place in Czerna.
Conditions of participation
Important! Participating in Vocation Retreats and Recollection Days more than once is possible only after consulting the vocation director.
